Ye, the artist formerly known as Kanye West, has announced the postponement of his upcoming concert in Marseille, France, as he continues to face backlash over his past anti-Semitic comments.

Ye’s decision comes after government officials in France threatened to block the performance due to the rapper’s previous praise of Hitler, support for Nazis, and anti-Semitic remarks. Earlier this month, the U.K. also banned Ye from performing in the country, leading to the cancellation of his scheduled appearance at the Wireless Festival 2026.

Despite the challenges he faces overseas, Ye was welcomed in the U.S. with open arms, performing two sold-out shows in Los Angeles earlier this month without incident.
