Diehard Drake fans descended on a massive ice structure in Toronto, taking extreme measures to try and uncover the release date for the rapper’s highly anticipated ‘Iceman’ album.

On Monday (April 20), Drizzy revealed that the release date for his upcoming project is hidden within a gigantic ice installation placed in a Toronto parking lot. Fans arrived in droves, eager to catch a glimpse of the icy structure and potentially solve the mystery.

What started as fans taking selfies and marveling at the man-made glacier quickly escalated, as some attendees took it upon themselves to try and melt the ice prematurely. Armed with blowtorches, pick axes, and even charcoal and lighter fluid, the determined fans set out to uncover the release date before the ice could melt naturally.

One individual even offered a free car to anyone who could locate a hidden key within the massive ice block. However, the situation became too chaotic, and police were eventually called to disperse the crowd after fires were set atop the structure.

Drake has been teasing his ‘Iceman’ album for over a year, and last month he confirmed that the project is on the way. But the elusive release date has yet to be announced, leaving fans eager to uncover the mystery.

According to estimates, the ice structure is expected to melt in around four days, at which point the ‘Iceman’ release date should be revealed. Some fans believe the album could drop as soon as this Friday (April 24), while others speculate it could be as late as July.
