It appears that Foogiano, the 1017 Global artist signed to Gucci Mane’s label, has been released from prison after serving a five-year sentence. On Tuesday (April 21), producer SpiffoMadeIt shared a selfie of Foo on his Instagram Story, captioning it ‘No More Free Foo,’ signifying that the rapper has been freed from behind bars. Foo’s personal photographer also seemed to confirm the news, writing ‘Stay free welcome home Foo’ on his Instagram Story.

Foogiano was sentenced to five years in prison in May 2021 following his capture after cutting off his GPS ankle monitor and going on the run while on probation for a gun charge. He was one of the last two artists remaining on Gucci Mane’s 1017 Global label, along with Pooh Shiesty, after Guwop announced he would be purging the roster in October 2024.

Earlier this month, Pooh Shiesty was arrested for allegedly robbing Gucci Mane and forcing him to sign a contract release form at gunpoint. It remains to be seen what Foogiano’s next moves will be now that he’s a free man again.
