50 Cent took to Instagram on June 16 to mock Diddy's shortened sentence and Floyd Mayweather's felony check charges, posting two provocative messages.

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson resumed his familiar role as the internet’s merciless provocateur this week, posting a pair of Instagram jabs aimed at two high-profile figures: Sean “Diddy” Combs and Floyd Mayweather Jr. The shots arrived on Tuesday, June 16, threading current legal headlines with 50’s characteristic blend of mockery and curiosity.
On Diddy, the barbs landed around an already fraught timeline. As previously reported, the Bad Boy mogul’s prison term was shortened for a second time, moving his release date to February 23, 2028. 50 turned that development into a punchline, sharing a screenshot of the news and riffing on Combs’ reputation for large-scale parties.
“Diddy coming homes soon he short now, you know he gonna have the craziest party ever! LOL who going? You going!”
Elsewhere, 50 took a different tone with Floyd Mayweather, whose week was dominated by new criminal allegations out of Nevada. Prosecutors say Mayweather wrote a bad $200,000 check to buy a luxury watch in late 2024 and have charged him with two felonies. Mayweather’s camp has not publicly responded to the accusations.
“Damn Champ WTF is up if you need some money just call me,” 50 wrote sarcastically. “We could have kept this shit from getting so messy. Now the Feds looking for you, love you bro I’m not mad at you no more call me.”
Neither post appears to change the underlying legal realities for either man, but they do show how social media has become a running scoreboard for celebrity disputes. 50’s comments were shared directly to his feed and amplified across platforms, folding personal digs into the public record of both ongoing stories.
