Love rumours started moving quickly on Sunday, July 26, after Skrilla and Keyshia Cole both posted new photos that seemed to put their relationship status right in the middle of the conversation. The rapper and the R&B singer did not issue a formal announcement, but the posts were close enough for fans to read as a soft launch.
In Keyshia’s Instagram Story, she shared a bathroom selfie of Skrilla with her arms wrapped around his waist. Her caption was brief: "Yup." On his own Story, Skrilla posted another look at the pair, this time hanging out in a club, and later shared a shot of the two of them together on a yacht. The images did the rest, instantly setting off speculation online.
The reaction was swift, and not all of it was celebratory. A lot of fans focused on the age difference between the two, noting that Skrilla is 27 and Keyshia Cole is 44. Others were more cautious, floating the possibility that the two are simply friends. For now, neither artist has confirmed that they are dating.

Keyshia’s love life has been in public view before. She previously dated Atlanta rapper Hunxho, a former 2024 XXL Freshman, and the two even linked up on "Don't Let Me Down," a collaboration that gave listeners a small window into their on-and-off dynamic. That relationship ended in March 2025.
Elsewhere, Skrilla has been building his own momentum off the back of his viral track "6’7." The Philadelphia rapper has also worked with YoungBoy Never Broke Again and Lil Yachty, and his 2026 XXL Freshman interview and freestyle remain part of the current rollout around his rise.
His name has been everywhere lately, but the new photos with Keyshia Cole pushed him into a different kind of spotlight, one that had less to do with music and more to do with what fans think they might be seeing between the two.
