2026 XXL Freshman Cypher Brings Skrilla, YKNiece, Trap Dickey and More Together

The 2026 XXL Freshman Class rollout is winding down, and the final cypher brings five more names into the frame: Trap Dickey, YKNiece, Skrilla, Babyfxce E and Belly Gang Kushington. After Chris Patrick, La Reezy, Sosocamo, Slayr, Miles Minnick and Hurricane Wisdom took the first turn in the first cypher, the series closes this round with another pass at proving who can actually stand out when the cameras and the beat are doing the least work possible.

Over a menacing, piano-led instrumental from Smkexclsv and Dewhaun, the five rappers take turns trying to leave a mark. DJ Drama, as expected, is there to keep the whole thing moving. The setup is familiar, but the performances give each artist a different angle, whether they’re leaning into place, self-mythology, or straight-up grim detail.

Trap Dickey opens by putting South Carolina front and center, using his verse to frame himself as more than just another rapper trying to get visible. “Ni**as love to say they rich, but do you feed the poor?/I mean more to my state than you mean to yours/You walk through and close sh*t, I open doors/I rap sh*t that street ni**as they feel in their pores,” he raps.

YKNiece follows and shifts the tone toward status and presence, delivering bars that center her own momentum as she talks slick over the beat. “You know how I’m comin’, bi**h, I’m comin’ hard,” the Georgia rapper says. “He wanna eat me up, but I won’t let him/I told him buy a bag, spend that chedda.”

Speaking to a much harsher reality, Skrilla comes next and doesn’t soften the details. The Philadelphia spitter goes straight at his own past: “My first lemon squeeze, I did my first drill, I didn’t freeze/Ridin’ with BD and FA, on the run, did that with ease,” he raps.

Babyfxce E brings Flint into the mix with a verse built on layered wordplay and a nod to the platform itself. “This sh*t gettin’ bigger/I got ni**as that got mo’ money than I got and they askin’ me for a picture,” he says. “Now I’m on double X add a L/I ain’t had no cosign, I did this by myself.”

Finally, Belly Gang Kushington closes things out by cutting the music and going acapella, which gives his verse a more unfiltered edge. The Atlanta rapper delivers a grim account of jail and standing on his own: “They be callin’ me a White boy, whole time my great grandma was a slave,” he says. “I’m so muthaf**kin’ sick and tired of hearin’ that Ratlanta phrase/That sh*t Gucci did, that ain’t now Atlanta ways.”
