A$AP Rocky Says He'd Go Bare Knuckle With Drake in a Boxing Match

For all the public tension between A$AP Rocky and Drake over the past few years, Rocky is still willing to take things to an old-school extreme. In a trailer for The Jason Lee Show that aired on Monday (Aug. 3), the Harlem rapper is asked about celebrity boxing and whether he’d get in the ring with Drake. His answer was blunt.

“Bare knuckle, the like Irish,” Rocky said, making it clear he meant a fight with no gloves.

The friction between the two has played out in public for years, with Rihanna, Rocky’s current child’s mother and Drake’s former partner, sitting at the center of some of the mess. Add in style-biting accusations and repeated sneak disses, and the feud has never really stayed quiet for long. Rocky fed the fire again in January on Don’t Be Dumb track “Stole Ya Flow.”

“Been shittin’ on everything, wasn’t even potty-trained/Ni**as gettin’ BBLs, lucky we don’t body shame/Throwin’ dirt on Rocky name, turn around and copy game,” Rocky spit.

Drake answered more recently in May on “Burning Bridges,” a track from Iceman.

“I put you ni**as through the wringer, yeah/You gettin’ bodied by a singin’ ni**a, yeah,” Drake rhymes. “I’m with Noel like I’m Kris Kringle, yeah/Your baby mama ain’t even post your single, damn.”

The interview with Rocky doesn’t stop there. He also talks about marriage, the split of A$AP Mob, and whether he’s keeping Rihanna from finally delivering the album fans have been waiting on for years. The full conversation is set to air on Wednesday (Aug. 5).
