T.I. delivered an emotional speech to Tiny at their Jamaica vow renewal, which marked their 16th wedding anniversary.

By the time T.I. took the microphone at his vow renewal, the celebration around Tiny Harris already had the feel of a family gathering with a little extra shine. Held in Jamaica on July 31, the ceremony marked the couple’s 16th wedding anniversary, and Tiny shared new footage on Instagram Wednesday, Aug. 5, giving a closer look at the speech her husband delivered to family and friends.
Tip used the moment to trace the length of the relationship back through the last 25 years, folding in the kind of big, faith-based language he often reaches for when speaking publicly about his life. In the clip, he described purpose and partnership as something divine, saying,
“It is in my belief and my heart that I feel God puts every soul here on earth with a purpose and a partner. It is our job to find both.”
He also acknowledged that not every person gets both. Some, he suggested, may spend years finding one and never the other. For him, though, the balance has come with a challenge attached.
“And God love me so much that he not only wanted to bless me, he indeed wanted to challenge me as well,”
he said.
“25 years ago I accepted this challenge to protect, to provide, to love and to honor in sickness and health. The sickness of the mind as well.”
From there, the speech turned more direct, with T.I. thanking Tiny for what the two have built together and making plain that, in his mind, the search is over.
“You could put on a million dresses in a million years and I would say the same thing every time,”
he said.
“There is no other person for me. I have found mine. […] A love of legends is what this is and that is the only love for me.”
Tiny’s own caption framed the moment as one of the night’s most surprising and moving scenes.
“One the most unexpected but most magical moment of the night,”
she wrote.
“This love was very challenging over these 25yrs but so well worth it. The way u show your love for me so loudly I have to recognize that some may never experience a love like ours.”
The renewal itself was a star-studded affair. Kandi Burruss and Tamika Scott were there representing Tiny’s Xscape circle, while singer Major performed as she walked down the aisle. T.I. and Tiny, who began dating in 2001, married in Miami in 2010. The Jamaica ceremony arrived nine years later, with the couple marking the milestone in front of friends, family and a history that clearly still carries weight for both of them.
