Eminem Puts Signed Sneakers and Rare Air Jordan 3 ‘Slim Shady’ PEs Up for Auction

Eminem has opened the door, at least briefly, on one of the more elusive corners of his sneaker history. More than 100 signed pairs from his personal collection are now up for auction, alongside two of the only 45 pairs ever made of his Air Jordan 3 ‘Slim Shady’ Player Exclusives, a release that had stayed locked away from the public until now.

On Monday, Aug. 17, the Detroit rap icon listed the shoes as part of a sale benefiting the Marshall Mathers Foundation. For sneaker collectors, the bigger prize is obvious: the Air Jordan 3s were made specifically for Eminem’s Super Bowl LVI halftime show performance in 2022, and until this auction, they had remained strictly out of reach. The fact that only 45 pairs exist only sharpens the appeal.

The bidding is live through Julien’s Auctions here and will close on Aug. 25 at 10 a.m. PT. In a post on X, Eminem said 100 percent of the proceeds will go to the Marshall Mathers Foundation, which supports resources and opportunities for disadvantaged and at-risk youth in Detroit and surrounding communities.

This is not the first time one of Em’s shoes has ended up in the auction spotlight. In February, he donated a signed pair of Nike Air Jordan 4s to Julien’s Auctions, and they sold for $5,120 to an undisclosed bidder. The Jordan 3s have already drawn more attention than that earlier pair, with the current bid sitting at $25,000 and likely to climb before the lot closes.
