2026 Hip-Hop Festival Guide: Rock The Bells, Legacy Cup, Touch Grass and More

Festival season may peak in the summer, but hip-hop’s live calendar does not exactly shut down when the temperature dips. Some of the biggest draws are stretching well into fall, and this year’s lineup is already stacked with heritage acts, regional staples and a few newer events trying to make their own lane.

At the center of that is Rock The Bells, one of the genre’s most recognizable throwback festivals, which returns to New Jersey on Nov. 29 to celebrate the culture. This year’s headliners include LL Cool J, Method Man & Redman, Lil’ Kim, David Banner and The LOX, among others.

Further west in the Midwest, Big Boi with Sleepy Brown will top the bill at Legacy Cup, Minneapolis’ biggest cannabis festival, on Sept. 26. The lineup pairs them with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Nappy Roots and Sa-Roc, giving the event a mix of veteran names and sharp lyricists.

Down South, a new entry is making its debut. The inaugural Touch Grass Music Festival lands in Orlando, Fla., on Oct. 3, presented by the Touch Grass Television streaming collective. The day-long event is built around the idea of pulling fans away from their screens and into open air, with PartyNextDoor, JID, Monaleo, Flo Milli, DDG and 2026 XXL Freshman alums Slayr and Sosocamo set to perform.

Elsewhere, the roster keeps widening. Young Thug and Yeat are booked for separate New York shows in September as part of the city’s five-month Summerstage 40 Festival. In Los Angeles, Action Bronson and producer/DJ Metro Boomin will hit the stage in October at the Puffcon Block Party.

For hip-hop fans mapping out the rest of 2026, the festival circuit is not slowing down so much as spreading out.
