On Monday, June 15, the 2022 XXL Freshman alum surprised fans with “SUM OFF MY CHEST,” a sprawling cut that stitches together absurd humor, shameless bravado, and his signature offbeat punchlines across shifting beats. The track reads less like a radio single and more like a marathon freestyle run through whatever ideas the Florida rhymer wanted to throw at a mic.

When the track was shared on Rap‘s Instagram, Cochise himself chimed in the comments with a line that undercuts any talk of concept: “Just shaking balls on a mic for 14 minutes.” The shrug is telling — this is less a carefully polished single than a flex of stamina and personality.
Responses to the experiment have been predictably split. Some fans treated the extended run as a hilarious flex; others called it self-indulgent.
