DDG Applies to Soulja Boy’s Rapper University After Missing Kai Cenat’s Streamer University

DDG has turned to Soulja Boy’s Rapper University after being left off Kai Cenat’s Streamer University 2026 roster, a bit of internet symmetry that pretty much writes itself.

On Monday, July 6, Cenat came back from his nearly year-long streaming hiatus to unveil the accepted participants for Streamer University 2026. More than 100 streamers, content creators and artists made the cut. DDG, who had served as a faculty member at the inaugural Streamer University last year, was not among them.

So the rapper-streamer did what a lot of people would do in the age of livestreams and public rejection: he applied to Soulja Boy’s Rapper University on stream. He also appeared to acknowledge the slight on X, writing, “Stream tmmw, im finna drink my pain away.”

The irony is hard to miss. DDG had already dismissed Soulja Boy’s Rapper University when Big Draco first floated it as a response to not being included in Streamer University. At the time, DDG went in on the idea during a livestream, saying,

“I guarantee you, nobody coming to this sh*t, boy. Not one person. We don’t want to learn sh*t from you. You ain’t had a hit since I was 10, ni**a. What the f**k we wanna learn from you?…I ain’t danced to your music since I was 10.”

Elsewhere, Soulja Boy may already be reconsidering the whole thing. On Wednesday, July 8, he said Rapper University would be postponed until further notice, citing the overwhelming number of applications he had received.
