Lil Wayne breaks down his odd food rules in a new Friends Keep Secrets interview, including hating mayo and hiding milk in cereal.

Lil Wayne has never been especially interested in sounding ordinary, and that extends all the way to what he eats. In a new conversation on the Friends Keep Secrets podcast, the rapper laid out a series of food habits that are, by his own telling, pretty particular: he hates mayonnaise, avoids “white and soft” foods, and even keeps milk out of sight while eating cereal.
On Tuesday, July 21, Weezy F. Baby joined former 2016 XXL Freshman Lil Dicky, his wife Kristin Batalucco, and hitmaker Benny Blanco for what turned into an hour-long interview that moved across a range of subjects. Wayne talked about his recording process, his 2010 jail stint at Rikers Island, his fascination with aliens, and more. But the conversation also drifted into the more mundane terrain of food, where Wayne was just as specific as he was elsewhere.
At around the 28:41 mark in the video, Wayne discussed having a personal chef both at home and while on the road. From there, the group shifted into his eating habits, and Wayne admitted that his diet is not exactly a model of balance. “I eat breakfast for dinner a lot,” he said.
Then came the milk rule. “I don’t do milk, and I still eat cereal,” Wayne explained. “I put milk in it, I just can’t look at it.” He went on to say that he prefers to pour in just enough milk to sit at the bottom of the bowl, out of sight, so the cereal stays dry enough and he doesn’t have to see it.
Elsewhere in the discussion, the New Orleans rapper offered a broader list of foods he stays away from. “So, like, mashed potatoes I don’t f**k with,” he said. “Ranch [dressing], I can’t do. Stuff like mayonnaise, nothing.” He clarified that milk and white rice are the exceptions. “Milk is the only thing, and [white] rice. That’s the only thing I can do,” he added.
When asked what his breakfast looks like, Wayne kept it simple but not exactly conventional. “It’s very interesting. It’s very unique. I eat biscuits and syrup and bacon and sausage,” he said.
