XXL Freshman Class 2026 Live Set for Los Angeles Show with 2016 Alumni Guests

In hip-hop, the Freshman Class has long worked as both coronation and pressure test. This summer, XXL is leaning into that tradition with a live showcase that doubles as an anniversary marker: Rémy Martin Presents XXL Freshman Class 2026 LIVE, set to bring the 2026 roster to the stage at the Belasco in Los Angeles on Aug. 27 at 8 p.m.

The one-night-only concert lands as XXL marks the 10th anniversary of its 2016 Freshman Class, a lineup the brand has spent the summer revisiting through a special campaign powered by Rémy Martin. The pairing makes sense on paper, at least within the language of the rollout: a celebration of artists built on intention, authenticity and the kind of personal calling the magazine likes to frame as part of the Freshman mythos. The night is meant to culminate there, with current and former classes sharing the bill under one roof.

The 2026 concert will feature performances from Chris Patrick, Belly Gang Kushington, YKNiece, Skrilla, Trim, Hurricane Wisdom, Babyfxce E, Trap Dickey, Sosocamo and the 10th spot winner Miles Minnick, along with more artists still to be announced by the shape of the night itself. Special guests from the 2016 XXL Freshman Class are also expected to appear, and if these events tend to teach anything, it is that surprise cameos are part of the appeal. Elsewhere, YKNiece is slated to deliver her sexy, confident bars; Skrilla should have the crowd moving with his raw raps; Sosocamo is set to bring trap-style vibes; and Miles Minnick rounds things out with uplifting rhymes that, as the release frames it, resonate with the soul. It is a broad spread, which is sort of the point. Each artist comes with a different angle, from witty lyricism to melodies that stick and everything between.
