Ye Nears Settlement in Ex-Assistant Lauren Pisciotta’s Sexual Harassment Suit
Ye reportedly reached a settlement in principle with ex-assistant Lauren Pisciotta, who sued him for sexual harassment and later alleged assault.

According to a report on Patch.com, published on Tuesday (June 30), Pisciotta had reached a settlement “in principle” with the Grammy Award-winning rapper. A settlement in principle is a preliminary agreement in which both parties agree on the fundamental terms of a resolution prior to finalizing the actual paperwork.
At a hearing on Monday (June 29), attorneys notified Judge Nicholas F. Daum that both parties had reached a settlement “in principle” during a June 4 mediation.
The terms of any deal have not been disclosed.
XXL has reached out to Lauren Pisciotta’s attorney and Ye’s rep for comment.
Background filings obtained by XXL show that Pisciotta initiated the lawsuit in June 2024. In those documents she alleged that the veteran rapper sent sexually explicit messages and recordings to her throughout her employment between 2021 and 2022. She says Ye hired her in July 2021 after they met while developing his Yeezy fashion line, and that she contributed to three songs on his 2021 album Donda.
In October 2024, Pisciotta amended the lawsuit to allege that she was drugged and sexually assaulted by Ye while attending a studio session co-hosted by Diddy. Pisciotta did not implicate Diddy of any wrongdoing.
Ye, through his attorney, has “vehemently denied all claims and has accused Lauren of blackmail,” according to court filings and reporting.
The case has moved through mediation and brief court updates this summer; whether the settlement in principle becomes a finalized agreement will depend on the paperwork the parties still need to sign.
